Serves you right....

From Politico:

Rep. Joe Sestak has defeated five-term Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter in their state's Democratic Senate primary, according to the AP. Specter's loss marks the end of a 30-year career in the Senate, most of which he spent as a Republican before switching parties in April 2009.

I don't know if this is the result of some shit the Democrats have been cooking up for later or what, but it was time for him to go.  Christ, 30 years!!  Methinks it's way past time to discuss term limits.

Estoy de acuerdo consigo. Term limits. They should have been put in place when presidential term limits were enacted.

We should have had term limits from the beginning. That man won't know what to do with his free time now. He'll be as helpless as a new born baby. Presidents, Congress (National and Local) should all do 6 years.

Hey you two! Looks like at least three of us agree! It just seems to me, we'd be a whole lot closer to what America should look like, if we limited the amount of time some of these folks (and their "constituents") had, to poison the system. 30 damn years??? And they're so power-hungry they'll do anything to stay in that Domed Building - even switch parties if they can make enough deals to make it work! Looks like Specter got double-crossed this time.

Citizen Ojo...hope I don't see his ass on "Dancing With the Stars" like Tom DeLay! :-)
